WARNING - Betonsports doesn't pay on movie props

I won two large movie bets at their site, they locked my account and told me that wouldn't pay because they think I had "insider" information. As anyone with a brain knows, it's impossible to know box office grosses. They didn't seem to mind taking my money on the movie bets I lost. They also claim they were not well-informed and that their lines are not valid. They also flat out lied to me and told me I never bet sports with them even though I had bet football for the last two seasons. The best part was when they told me that their movie props are "just for fun", apparently this means no one is allowed to win...that is "fun".

They never called back, I had to chase them down and they argue in circles with no intention of listening to my position. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

I am now switching to Intertops for all my action.

I've posted about BoS before...they have tried stiffing me multiple times over wagers on mixed martial arts. The fools can't comprehend how ridiculous it sounds to say that they "don't know much" about the lines they put up. Then why put them up? LOL! What crooks!

They also have a nasty habit of considering any non-ball activity a "novelty" wager for their "regular" (i.e. losing) customers only. Of course, none of this is mentioned when you sign up. Consider also that they have advertised on Stern with death pool bets, who the next Pope will be, etc. They have no intention of paying. I beat them up a second time on a MMA show in February and they insisted that I bet the same amount on basketball before cashing out.

I've washed my hands of them, but haven't abandoned the idea of publicly "outing" their criminal ways.

Sounds like typical NASA BS. I agree. Avoid them at all costs. And since Shrink seems to be closer to them than when they stiffed Walters, shawdow you might ask either him or The General to contact them on your behalf.

When I first tried online gambling it was with BetOnSports... it took me 6 MONTHS!!! to withdrawl a simple $75. They are crooks. You put a line up you should pay. I had some other problems with other sportsbooks as well... so now I do ALL my business with INTERTOPS.COM. They always pay. Happy to pay.

Gil, I'm convinced that you are a shill for Intertops. Whenever you have the chance to take a stab at another book (Olympic, Wsex, Bodog), you take it, and, whenever you have a chance to pump up Intertops, you take that also. Stop with the Pom Poms already, dude. Everyone on here knows that they are an excellent book (not even CLOSE to the best book out there), but excellent nonetheless.

Read my post moron... I said everyone I've ever dealt with has pissed me off except for Intertops. So why wouldn't I give them props. You're a little bitch JC... you can dish it out, but you can't take it... and everyone on this forum will agree with me. I think you must be a girl, because you take everthing so personally. I love intertops, it's my favorite book... So want is wrong with that... of course I am going to say good things about them... wouldn't you say good things about a book that comps you $50 after a simple mishaps. I would encourage you to spread the word to anyone who lost any box office bets on BOS over the last few weeks to go to customer service and demand their money back. If they aren't willing to pay out money won due to "incorrect information" in posting their lines, then they shouldn't take any money lost on those very wagers.
